Most cleaning products contain solvents and other volatile materials in relatively high concentrations. These chemicals, which can irritate the skin and eyes and may be harmful if ingested, tend to evaporate easily and can persist in the air for an extended period of time. Virtually every cleaning product now carries or is required by law to carry a "Caution", "Warning", or "Poison" on its label to advice of these hazards. The developer submitted its formulas to the relevant federal agencies, which determined on the basis of independent chemical evaluations that their cleaning products are not hazardous and therefore do not require such labeling.
